Today I also had a very interesting discussion with students (aged 12 years) from the European School of Brussels I (teacher: Isabelle De Coninck). Where do their intersts lie? Well, they wanted to know more on the preparation and protection of astronauts to go and live on Mars, but they also wanted to know what Spirulina exactly was and how it is linked to space research. Furthermore, they wanted to know what a typical day looks like in the life of a scientist at the Princess Elisabeth station. Many thanks for our wonderful talk!
